Street Soccer is not your ordinary top-down sports simulation game. It’s more like an arcade-style soccer game combined with some brutal elements from… kick-boxers or hooligans! Matches take place on an urban street bordered by wire metal fences. You control outfield players and the Goalie, who is usually the head of the team and the most powerful man in the arena. Tackling IS allowed and it’s nobody’s fault but your own if you lose a player in a fist fight! Outfield players gain extra speed and power for their kicks by collecting power-ups which appear randomly on the field.
